Abstract

Proses penggantian pulih telur dan butiran kaca terhadap air,semen dan pasir pada pembuatan beton dilakukan dengan cara mengurangi jumlah air,semen dan pasir yang didapat dari perhitungan Job Mix Formula yang telah dihitung untuk mengetahui jumlah kebutuhan bahan yang akan digunakan. Butiran kaca yang digunakan adalah limbah botol minuman berwarna putih bening yang telah dihaluskan, sedangkan telur yang digunakan adalah telur ayam broiler. Variasi jumlah putih telur dan butiran kaca yang digunakan adalah sebesar 10% terhadap berat atau jumlah pasir, dan dilakukan penggantian semen dan air dengan putih telur sebesar 2,5%,5% dan 7,5% terhadap berat atau jumlah air dan semen. Penggantian bahan bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kuat larik lentur beton normal dengan beton yang menggunakan agregat kaca dan campuran putih telur. Hasil penelitian diharapkan bahwa dengan penggantian bahan yang telah dilakukan dengan beberapa variasi jumlah putih telur dan kaca dapat menghasilkan beton dengan kuat tarik lentur yang lebih tinggi dari beton normal.
