Abstract

Osteoarthritis merupakan penyakit yang bersifat kronis dan penyakit degeneratif akibat kerusakan di tulang rawan atau kartilago yang menimbulkan rasa nyeri. Osteoarthritis menyerang tulang rawan sendi, jaringan synovial, jaringan ikat periartikular, dan tulang sub kondral. Prevalensi penyakit sendi di Indonesia sangat tinggi sebesar 30,3%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai hubungan rasionalitas penggunaan obat anti inflamasi non steroid pasien osteoarthritis di RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang. Pengambilan data secara retrospektif yang memenuhi syarat kriteria inklusi diperoleh 41 data. Hasil karakteristik pasien osteoarthritis didominasi oleh perempuan, usia tergolong lansia akhir, dan nyeri sedang. Aspek rasionalitas pasien osteoarthritis ditinjau 100% tepat diagnosis, 100% tepat indikasi, 80,49% tepat obat, 97,56% tepat dosis, 100% tepat pasien, 100% tepat rute, 85,37% tepat lama pemberian, dan 100% waspada terhadap efek samping. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi-square didapatkan p value (0,022) <0,05. Terdapat hubungan antara rasionalitas obat dengan tingkat nyeri pasien osteoarthritis di RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang.
