Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Jenis Makrofita Perairan Rawa di Jalan Kancil Putih II Kota Palembang pada bulan Januari-Februari 2019 dengan tujuan mendapatkan informasi mengenai jenis makrofita yang ada di Jalan Kancil Putih II. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode jelajah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 14 jenis tumbuhan makrofita yang berasal dari 11 suku dan 11 bangsa. Jenis tersebut adalah Polygonum barbatum., Neptunia plena., Nelumbo nucifera., Ludwigia adscendens., Ludwigia perennis., Ipomoea aquatica., Echinodorus palaefolius., Colocasia esculenta., Commelina diffusa., Cyperus erythrorhizos., Kyllinga brevifolia., Eleocharis dulcis., Eragrostis amablis., Eichornia crassipes. Tumbuhan dengan kategori Emergent plants ditemukan sebanyak 12 jenis dan tumbuhan Free floating plants ditemukan sebanyak 2 jenis. Data dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan materi pembelajaran biologi di SMA kelas X pada Kompetensi Dasar 3.2 Menganalisis data hasil observasi tentang berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati (gen, jenis, dan ekosistem) di Indonesia serta ancaman dan pelestariannya.
