Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah “Pemaknaan Tayangan Dulmuluk TVRI Sumsel oleh Seniman Dulmuluk Sanggar Harapan Jaya” penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pemaknaan seniman Dulmuluk sanggar Harapan Jaya sehingga berada pada posisi dominan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Encoding-Decoding Stuart Hall yang memiliki tiga dimensi yaitu Kerangka Pengetahuan, Relasi Produksi dan Infrastruktur Teknis. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan data deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana proses pemaknaan seniman Dulmuluk sanggar Harapan Jaya pada tayangan Dulmuluk TVRI Sumsel sehingga berada pada posisi dominan.
