Abstract

Along with the development of material processing technology, the use of aluminum are more often found in food and beverage packaging wastes. The purpose of this research is to utilize aluminum waste and analyze the effect of changes in process parameters on hardness, density, impact, chemical composition of x-ray crystallography and aluminum microstructure with a composition of 12% fly ash and 15% alumina after going through casting process with variety temperature. Treatment of change stirring temperature are divided into 3; 700°C, 750°C and 800°C with a stirring time of 180 seconds and steering speed 350 rpm. After going through the testing process, the highest Hardness number for 750°C are 86.239 BHN, the impact value 14.723 joules, and the density 1.572 g / cm3. The best Impact and Density test values are obtained at 800°C, which is equal to 14,960 joules with a density value of 1,583 g / cm3, and the hardness value is 81,21004 BHN. From the changes in of hardness number, impact and density it has been proven that there is an influence of the stirring temperature change process parameters by the hardness number, impact and density during the casting process using the stir-squeeze casting method
