Abstract
This development research aims to develop and produce products in the form of theme-based interactive games for children aged (5-6) years that are valid and practical. The model used in this research is ADDIE development (Analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate) and uses Tessmer formative evaluation which includes self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Data analysis techniques used are interviews, walkthroughs, and observations using a checklist sheet. The results of the research obtained from the validity of the material amounted to 91% and the validity of the media amounted to 92% so the average obtained from the validity of the product was 92% with a very valid category. Furthermore, the results of the one-to-one evaluation involving three children obtained a result of 89% and the small group evaluation stage involving six children obtained a result of 89%, from these two stages an average of 89% was obtained with a very practical category. Thus, the development of theme-based interactive games for children aged (5-6) is declared valid and practicable so that it is feasible to use for learning media for children aged (5-6) years.
