Abstract
The aims of this research were to measure the participation rate of women farmers in irrigation area and to analize the effect of age, education, wide of farm and status in organization toward on the women farmers participation in irrigation area. The research done by using case study method with the simple random sampling method. The number of women farmer?s samples at Wonokerto Village were 20 women farmers. The Collected data consist of primary data which got from interview with women farmer, and secondary data from relavant literature and institution related with this research. The data that have been colleted analyzed with tabulation and mathematics. The result showed that women farmers participation were in medium category. Factors that influenced women farmers participation in irrigation area consisted of age, education, farm size and status organization, and age and status in organization, were the most influences factors.
