Abstract

Coal mining activities at PT Bukit Asam Tbk are designed according to the mining plan which starts from a five-year plan by the Long Term Work Plan Unit (PJP), then detailed into the coal mining plan by the Operational Planning Work Unit (Renop) and will be detailed again into Daily Coal Mining Plan by the Daily Planning Work Unit (Renhar). The transfer of overburden in the initial 2 months (January and February) in 2019 has not yet reached optimal production, each of which reached 496,310 BCM in January and 352,920 BCM in February respectively, while the target of each month is to be visited. 705,000 BCM. Based on the production target for overburden removal from March 2019 to December 2019, it will amount to 9,090,000 BCM. Transfer of overburden in January and February is not according to plan so plan optimization is needed in the following months (March to December). After optimizing the production plan by increasing effective road hours and work efficiency 3 %, production targets from March to December can reach 804,000 BCM in March, 796,000 BCM in April, 949,000 BCM in May, 1,023,000 in June, 1,023,000 in June, 1,155. 000 July BCM, 1,140,000 BCM in August, 898,000 BCM in September, 895,000 BCM in October, 782,000 BCM in November, 92,000 BCM in December, so the total overburden transfer in March 2019 - December 2019 was 9,361,000 BCM.
