Abstract

This study aim to improve the learning results of VA class students in mathematics subjects SDN 05 Inderalaya through jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The method that used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in 3 siklus with 4 steps a) planing, b). The subjects of this study were 24 students of VA class SDN 05 Inderalaya with 10 male students and 14 female students. The research instrument that used in this research is 10 questionnaires of learning result test and observation sheet of student activeness. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model jigsaw type can improve student learning results in mathematics subjects. This was shown in the results of research that has been done on the first cycle average value reached 57,50 with 50% percentage completeness, on the second cycle average value reached 58.75 with 66,67% percentage completeness, then in cycle III the average value average reached 68.33, with 83,33% percentage completeness. Based on the achievement indicator, this research was considered to have been successful because the results of student learning on the subjects of VA class mathematics have reached the criteria of learning completeness Classical is ≥ 60 with percentage of ≥ 80 %.
