Abstract

As time passes, the ease and practicality because of the technology sophistication of automatic systems increasingly felt. One of the example of automatic control is using Radio Frequency Identification. Such as making student attendance devices that use RFID, and can monitor student attendance data by lecturers through a website. The final result of this research is that the automatic student attendance mechanism using the 13.56MHz RFID tag can be created and operated with an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller as a control center, Ethernet Shield is used for connecting to the network and programmed using the Arduino IDE software. The maximum distance of the card range is 5cm. Recording student attendance data stored in a database which is then displayed report on the website. The admin can monitor the use of cards in student attendance and control card access rights using the website that has been created.
