Abstract

Sungsang is located in Banyuasin II District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Communities in this area are very dependent on the sea which is used as a place to fulfill their needs of life. Banyuasin waters in South Sumatra have great fishery potential. Environmentally friendly fishing gear, namely fishing gear that does not have a negative impact on the environment. It is necessary to classify the various fishing gears in Sungsang Village according to the criteria. CCRF explains the criteria for environmentally friendly fishing gear based on 9 criteria. Longline places first priority on biological aspects with a value of V(A) = 2.86. Lift net, gill net set, stow net, and longline place the first priority on the socio-cultural aspect with a value of V(A) = 3.00. The lift net places first priority on the economic aspect and CCRF with a value of V(A) = 4.75 and 7.47 respectively. Trawling places the first priority on technical aspects with a value of V(A) = 2.89. In the results of the standardization of value functions based on technical, biological, economic, socio-cultural and environmental friendliness aspects, the Chart places the first priority order with a value of V(A) = 17.92.
