Abstract

Hasil penelitian di kelas VII.b SMP Srijaya Negara Palembang, diperoleh hasil bahwa pembelajaran matematika pada materi persamaan linier satu variabel melalui pendektan saintifik (5M) merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran berpusat pada guru berubah menjadi terpusat pada siswa. Hal ini terbukti berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya pendekatan saintifik dikategorikan baik. Hasil belajar siswa berkategori sangat baik dengan persentase 30,5 %, untuk hasil belajar siswa berkategori baik dengan persentase 50 %, selanjutnya untuk hasil belajar siswa berkategori cukup dengan persentase 8,3 %, kemudian hasil belajar siswa yang berkategori kurang dengan persentase 11,1 %, dan hasil belajar siswa sangat kurang dengan persentase 0 %.
