Abstract

The study of "Objective Literary Criticism of the novel of the Dreamer of Andrea Hirata's Work" is based on two fonns of judgment: aesthetic assessment and extraesthetic assessment. The ae thetic research is judged by the interwovenness, uniqueness and equilibrium , based on the no vel intrinsic elements that include : character and style, p lot , background, point of vi ew, language style, message and theme. While the extraestetic a sses ment is an as essment of big ideas. This study aims to describe the intimacy , uniqueness and ba lance that fonn the aesthetic element in the novel of the Dreamer's and then describe the great ideas that exi t in the novel Sang Pemimpi. This fonn of research is objective literary criticism. Objective literary criticism is a literary critique that views literature as autonomous, independent and independent of its author, reader, and ocial environment. The method in this study is descriptive analysis method . Data analysis technique used are structural techniques that bertumpuh objective approach or structuralis m that analyze the fabric of the elements of literary works in the fonnation of certai n idea s and meanings. The results of this study indicate that the novel of the Dreamer's by Andrea Hirata has a good quality becau e it has met all criteria of objective literature criticism assessment of aesthetic and extraesthetic valuations. Aesthetically this novel has had the interwoven, uniqueness and balance , then extraestetik this no vel a l o has a great idea.
