Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Banana Weevil Liquid Organic Fertilizer and the effect of cow manure on the growth and yield of eggplant. This research was conducted from August to December 2022 in Talang Buluh Village, Sukomoro District, Banyuasin. This study used a randomizedblock design (RBD) which consisted of 9 treatments with 3 replications and each replicate contained 2 plant samples so that there were 54 plants in total. The treatment in this study was P0 = control (without fertilization), P1 = soil: cow manure (2:1) + 10% Banana Weevil LOF, P2 = soil: cow manure (2:1) + 15% Banana Weevil LOF, P3 = soil : cow manure (2:1) + 20% Banana Weevil LOF, P4 = soil : cow manure (2:1) + 25% Banana Weevil LOF, P5 = soil : cow manure (3:1 ) + 10% POC of banana weevil LOF, P6 = soil : cow manure (3:1) + 15% Banana Weevil LOF, P7 = soil : cow manure (3:1) + 20% Banana Weevil LOF, P8 = soil : cow manure (3:1) + 25% Banana Weevil LOF. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the combination of cow manure and banana weevil liquid organic fertilizer in various doses has not made a significant difference in the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.).
