Abstract

Pada saat ini, dikembangkan metode baru dalam melakukan desain bangunan tahan gempa. Salah satu metode yang dikembangkan adalah konsep desain berbasis kinerja (performance based design). Metode ini dinilai efektif terutama terhadap aspek ekonomis ketika perencanaan suatu bangunan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada rusun umum Jakabaring paket 3 (tower 3) kota Palembang yang terletak di jalan Silaberanti Palembang. Analisis kinerja pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis linier respon spektrum dan statis non linier (pushover analysis). Hasil analisis menunjukan Kinerja gedung dengan respon spektrum dikategorikan aman terhadap gempa rencana berdasarkan peraturan SNI 1726 2012 dengan nilai baseforce arah X sebesar 8591,666 kN dan arah Y sebesar 8167,172 kN. Kinerja pushover struktur arah X adalah Immediate ocupancy (IO) dengan kinerja maksimum life safety (LS). Kinerja struktur pushover arah Y adalah intermediate ocupancy (IO). kondisi kolom memenuhi prinsip kekuatan kolom lebih kuat dibandingkan kekuatan balok (strong colomb weak beam).
