Abstract
The purpose of this research is to design and build a robot car to assist the task of disaster management agencies to find and determine the position of disaster victims. Temperature sensors and GPS are used as tools to detect and determine the position of disaster victims. This mobile robot uses a DC motor as a drive and uses cameras to monitor the area around the robot. This mobile robot is controlled remotely using wifi connectivity connected to an android mobile phone. The research method used is qualitative with documentation techniques testing carried out and recording the data obtained. From the results of this study it was found that the temperature sensor, camera and GPS worked well. The effective distance to accurately detect disaster victims is at a distance of 1 cm with an average measurement error value of 0.328%.
