Abstract

This research entitled "The Implementation of Public Policy on Prevention, countermeasures and Control of HIV and AIDS of Palembang City Number 16 Year 2007 about Prevention, Control and Prevention of HIV and AIDS of Palembang City. This study uses descriptive method, while for data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques. This research uses the policy implementation model used by George.C. Edward III which consists of four dimensions, namely; Communications, resources, dispositions and bureaucratic structures. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of local regulations Number 16 of 2007 on the prevention, countermeasures and contro of HIV AIDS in Palembang city is quite good. It can be seen based on four dimensions of communication, resources, dispositions and bureaucratic structures that have been running well.
