Abstract

Pabrik Metil Metakrilat direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Surabaya. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 4 Ha dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton pertahun. Proses pembuatan Metil Metakrilat dilakukan melalui proses Formilasi Propionaldehida menjadi Metakrolein yang berlangsung di Reaktor (R-01) pada temperatur 122,7oC dan tekanan 36 atm.Proses selanjutnya yaitu esterifikasi oksidatif Metakrolein menjadi Metil Metakrilat yang berlangsung di Reaktor (R-02) pada temperatur 80oC dan tekanan 6 atm.Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk PerseroanTerbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff , yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 172 orang.Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, Pabrik Metil Metakrilat (MMA) dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dengan analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: Investasi = US $ 29,030,058.53 Hasilpenjualan per tahun = US $ 180,000,000.00 Biayaproduksi per tahun = US $ 155,951,543.71 Lababersih per tahun = US $ 15,631,496.59 Pay Out time = 1,76tahun Rate of return on investment = 53,85% Discounted Cash Flow –ROR = 67,26% Break Even Point = 34,23% Service Life = 11tahun
