Abstract

Induction motor is one of type of electric motor that is widely used both in industry and human life. Its continuous use may cause the electric motor to be damaged One of the most common damage is the damage to the coil or coil insulation on the motor. In this final project I the 1 phase induction motor is used with 220 volt input of voltage, 125 watts of power, and the frequency is 50 hz. The first step was repair the induction motor by rewinding the stator coil. The process involves the replacement of the whole coil on the electric motor. After the repair process is finished, the induction motor ie tested according to the standard. From the test that has been done got the pure resistance value of the motor that is before the rewinding 40 ohm, and after rewinding 42,9 ohm. And also performed data processing to find the value of efficiency where obtained the value of motor efficiency before rewinding is 55% and the value of motor efficiency after rewinding is 53% here the value of motor efficiency decreased after the rewinding
