Abstract

Pabrik Pembuatan Litium Karbonat dengan kapasitas 27.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan akan berdiri pada tahun 2022 di Tanjung Api-api, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 8,69 Ha. Proses pembuatan litium karbonat menggunakan proses karbonasi, dimana reaktan yang direaksikan adalah litium klorida dengan ammonium karbonat di dalam reaktor jenis Continous Stirred Tank Reactor (R-01). Kondisi operasi pembuatan litium karbonat dilakukan pada temperatur 50 oC dan tekanan 1,3 atm dengan reaksi: 2LiCl + (NH4)2CO3 Li2CO3(s) + 2NH4Cl Produk litium karbonat hasil reaktor berupa slurry, kemudian dilakukan proses separasi solid-liquid menggunakan Centrifuge (CF-01) dan Belt Filter Spray Conveyor (BFSC-01). Setelah itu, dilakukan proses purifikasi dengan sistem drying menggunakan Fired Rotary Dryer (FRD-01) dan dilanjutkan dengan proses pendinginan produk menggunakan Rotary Cooler (RC-01). Pabrik Litium Karbonat merupakan perusahaan dengan bentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dan pola hubungan kerja line and staff, dimana pemilik perusahaan merupakan pemegang saham yang proses pelaksanaan tugasnya diwakili oleh Dewan Komisaris dan pelaksaan tugas perusahaan dijalankan oleh Direktur Utama. Jumlah karyawan pada Pabrik Litium Karbonat sebanyak 102 orang. xxix Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, Pabrik Pembuatan Litium Karbonat ini layak didirikan dengan perincian sebagai berikut:  Total Capital Investment = US $ 135.716.797,9448  Selling Price per Year = US $ 744.096.112,9149  Total Production Cost = US $ 640.667.271,5827  Annual Cash Flow = US $ 82.280.371,8229  Pay Out time = 1,9 tahun  Rate of Return = 66,68 %  Discounted Cash Flow = 60,36 %  Break Even Point = 38,6133 %  Service Life = 11 tahun
