Abstract

This thesis is titled about the effed of school culture implementation on the character of student in Senior High School I Tanjung Raja. The problem formulation in this research is to know whether there is influence of school culture implementation to student character, and whether there is no influence of school culture implementation to student character. This study aims to determine the effect of school culture implementation on the character of students in SMA Negeri I Tanjung Raja. This research is an experiment research. As for the population in this study is all students SMA Negeri I Tanjung Raja, amounting to 360 people. In this study only consists of one sample, the class XI Sains l consists of 37 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The classes sampled in this study are representative of the population and are really capable of being used to describe the population. The classes that were sampled were given special observations in the application of school culture. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The statistic used to analyze the data in proving the hypothesis is a simple regression test. If Fhitung > ftable, then reject Ho means linear patterned data and if if fobtained < Ftable, then accept Ho means not linear with significant level (a) = 0,05. It tums Fobtained <Ftable or 2,43 <3.13, then the data is linear patterned. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study is acceptable truth, that there is influence of school culture implementation on student character in SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja.
