Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of heat treatment (annealing) in electric furnace and in crucible fire furnace to mechanical properties of melted aluminium beverage can with waste lubricating as fuel oil in direct burning method. Where the highest value of ultimate tension is in speciment with no heat treatment with 13,201 kgf/mm², and the lowest value of ultimate tension is in specimen with annealing in crucible fire furnace with 11,642 kgf/mm². The highest value of elongation is in specimen with annealing in crucible fire furnace with 1.6%, and the lowest value of elongation is in specimen with no annealing with 1.24%. In Hardness testing , the highest value of hardness is in specimen with no annealing with 68,895, and the lowest value of hardness is in specimen with annealing in electric furnace with 49.681. And the highest value of impact energy is in specimen with annealing in electric furnace with 7,131 Joule, and the lowest value of impact energy is in specimen with no annealing with 3,564 Joule.
