Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan stirena dari etilbenzena dengan kapasitas 100.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2022 di Jalan Puloampel No.16, Margasari, Kecamatan Pulo Ampel, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 3,66 Ha. Proses pembuatan stirena menggunakan reaksi dehidrogenasi etilbenzena dengan jenis reaktor multitubular fixed bed dengan katalis besi oksida. Kondisi operasi pembuatan gas sintesa adalah 576,85oC dan tekanan 4 atm. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut: Reaksi utama : C6H5CH2CH3 C6H5CH=CH2 + H2 Reaksi samping : C6H5CH2CH3 C6H6 +C2H4 C6H5CH=CH2 +2H2 C6H5CH3 + CH4 Pabrik pembuatan stirena ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang pimpinannya adalah Direktur Utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 175 orang. Hasil dari analisa ekonomi Pra-rencana Pabrik Pembuatan Stirena sebagai berikut: •Total Capital Investment = US $ 38.805.916,17 •Selling Price per Year = US $ 178.450.215,54 •Total Production Cost = US $ 163.360.509,42 •Annual Cash Flow = US $ 12.451.379,68 •Pay Out time = 4,08 tahun •Rate of Return on Investment = 25,28% •Discounted Cash Flow = 30,72% •Break Even Point = 36,57% •Service Life = 11 tahun
