Abstract

PT Bukit Asam, Tbk. Planned to blast overburden of pit 3 East Electrification West Banko by 213.840 BCM in October but it was reallized only 95.369 BCM or about 45% of the planned target. Since the realization for each month is often not reached. It is necessary to evaluate the drilling and blasting activities at the West Banko Electirification mining. This research is conducted by blast geometry data, volume, area, coodinate and elevation of blasting location. Data of availability of blasting support equipment and data of rainfull/weather. Factors that caused in the failure of the blasting producion target in October, the location of drilling and blasting activities in October were only 8 blasting site which have resulting survey volume 112.881 BCM. Equipment that have mechanical avaibility below 85% are LMT-109 bulldozer, anfo truck and sandvik drill D245ss. Rainfall in October 2017 is 304,70 mm, rain time is 34,99 hours and frequency is 52 times. Addition of blast production volume can be done by scheduling blasting location using software minescape 5.7. Blasting scheduling is done by making boundary-boundary blasting base on drilling cycle time data, squence map of pit 3 East Electrification West Banko in October, blasting data that are blasting geometry, area, volume, coordinate and elevation of blasting location. As well as the need for overhouls of blasting support equipment in pit 3 East Electrification West Banko this is becauce the average equipment has been in operation for more than 4 year with the improvement of supporting equipment it can increase the explosion volume by 496.560 BCM with addition 332% of the volume before it is planned.
