Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital requirement, spontaneous liabilities, and working capital turnover on profitabilityin manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2013-2017. The profitability value is proxied using Return on Sales. Research sample comprised all firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the manufacturing companies for the period 2013-2017. The sampling method used is purposive sampling and obtained 84 samples of companies. This study used multiple linear regression as an analysis technique by using program SPSS 24.0 which has previously been tested for assumptions and hypothesis testing using t test statistics and test coefficient of determination with a significance level of 5%.. The Result showedworking capital requirement and spontaneous liabilities have positive and significant effect on Return on Sales, while Working Capital Turnover has negative and significant effect on Return on Sales. The conclusion of this study had illustred independent variable can be considered in the increasing of the profitability company.
