Abstract

PT. Duta Alam Sumatera is coal company engaged in coal mining village located Payo, District of West Merapi, Lahat - South Sumatra. Mining system used is surface mining. One of the factors that affect the productivity of the production tool is used. The haul road of good is the road that can give a moving optimum for operating vehicles. Production road that connects the front loading into the stock rom 2 is ± 1500 meters. Haul Road in PT. Duta Alam Sumatera Selatan consists of 19 segments ranging from the straight path, the path bends, road uphill and downhill roads. Coal Getting plan in PT. Duta Alam Sumatera Selatan month amounted to 41.546 tonnes /month. But for the actual conditions of production 2 units PC 400 LC excavator and 8 units of dump trucks Nissan CWB is at 30.599,2 tonnes / month so that production targets will not be achieved. So with the improvement of road geometry production in a straight line from the segment M - stock rom 2 with a width of 10,08 meters, and the width of the road bends to the segment Q - P - O and O - N - M with a width of 13 meters, in addition to the the making of a cross slope of 20.2 cm and manufacture of uperelevation on the street corner in segment Q - P - O and O - N - M is 0,11, the height difference between the inside and the outside must be made of 1,31 meters, and the production of road maintenance by using 2 units PC 400 LC excavator and 8 units of dump trucks Nissan CWB 45 production amounted to 42.301,6 tonnes / month, so that the production target is reached.
