Abstract

PT . Petrosea , ABN tbk project is a coal mining company accommodated in the sumplocated in Kampung Jawa Subdistrict Sanga - sanga Kutai kartanegara regency in East Kalimantan. Mining method conducted by PT . Petrosea,tbk ABN project is an open pit where the water that goes into the pit. Water in the sump mixed with mud thus affecting the effectiveness and pump the fuel consumption of the motor driving the pump of multiflo MF420EX. Therefore the research done by taking the data rate of the flow rate , mud percentage, mud density and pump fuel consumption. From the observation and study could be that any increase in the percentage of sludge will affect the smaller the effectiveness of the pump is equal to Y = 127,56 – 0,761X and the greater the fuel pump consumption at Y = 101.754 + 0.338X with 1480 RPM and 163 meters Head.
