Abstract

This research examines the strategy of women's silver jewelry craftsmen in adding to the family's income in Urban Village Ogan Ilir Regency Tanjung Batu. Authors tried to illustrate how the image of women's jewellery craftsmen in strategy The village of Tanjung Batu, through strategies applied. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely researchers directly involved in research through observation and interview. The research is qualitative deskriftive. Describe data descriptive of the phenomena studied by its analysis unit are women artisans of silver jewelry. Determination of informant this researched done on a purposive. Based on the research that has been done, the results showed that women apparently made by craftsmen have many options that are done ranging from using social media and shopping application as a place to sell crafts, do the rest of the raw material recycling crafts, do the work of sideline, modernizing the tools to craft production
