Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pictorial riddle terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn di SMP Negeri 2 Gelumbang .Populasi adalah seluruh kelas di SMP Negeri 2 Gelumbang yang berjumlah 592 orang. Dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan metode quasi experiment dimana dua metode pembelajaran berbeda dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran PKn. Sebelumnya sampel diambil secara purposive sampling kemudian ditetapkan 30 siswa kelas VIII.E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 28 siswa kelas VIII.F sebagai kelas kontrol. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian diperoleh perbedaan rerata persentase motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan metode pictorialriddlesebesar72.71%dengankategorimotivasibelajarbaiksedangkanreratapersentasemotivasibelajarsiswadenganmetodemodifiedinquiryhanyamemperolehhasilsebesar60.42%dengankategoricukupbaik.Didukungpuladarihasilanalisisujitdenganrumusindependentsamplest-testmenunjukanp
