Abstract

The Waters of Bangka Belitung highly influenced by tides that is one important parameters required in activity in these waters. There is an observation station tides to get data tides, however not all areas there were an observation station and data in the long term. Required a accurate of prediction data to cover the shortage and one of softwares that can be used is OTPS using data derived from OSU. This research aims to provide accurate information of tidal data prediction on data OSU processed using OTPS and field data obtained through recording a kalesto at the 7 points of observation stations tidal Bangka Belitung Province. The results obtained the data on prediction having a difference hours smaller at spring tides than neap tides with an error the smallest of 7 points stations of 0,157 m at the Sadai Station and seen in the number of formzahl Type tides at all points of station dominate diurnal.
