Abstract

This research is aims to generate module based on contextual in buffer solution that have the criteria for a valid, practical and effective. This research is the development research by ADDIE design and modified using formative evaluation Tessmer. Formative Tessmer evaluation in this study include self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group,and a field test evaluation. At the time of the expert review using pedagogical experts, subject matter experts and design experts. One-to-one stage, small group,and a field test was conducted on students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja as a class test modules. From the research conducted, expert review obtained a final score of validation aspects of pedagogic 4.00 (valid), the material aspects of 4.40 (validity), the design aspects of 4.80 (validity). One-to-one stage obtained a final score of 4.66 practicality (very practical) and the stage of a small group obtained the final score practicality 4.58 (very practical). Field test evaluation obtained a score gain of 0.64 (score gain medium). The results of this study are chemistry module based contextual that is valid, practical and effective. It is suggested to students using modules based on contextual material buffer solution.
