Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompos campuran ampas tebu (Saccharum officinarum) dan kotoran burung puyuh (Coturnix japonica) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman caisim (Brassica juncea). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini yaitu P1 (0%AT : 100%K), P2 (20%AT : 80%K), P3 (40%AT : 60%K), P4 (60%AT : 40%K), P5 (80%AT : 20%K), P6 (100%AT : 0%K). Data dianalisis dengan perhitungan Analisis Sidik Ragam (Ansira) dan uji BJND. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Ansira dan Uji BJND disimpulkan bahwa kompos berpengaruh pada parameter jumlah daun tanaman, berat basah tanaman, berat kering taruk dan berat kering akar dengan takaran terbaik pada takaran P3 (40%AT : 60%K). Tetapi tidak berpengaruh pada parameter rasio taruk akar. Hasil penelitian ini didapat menjadi alternatif contoh materi pembelajaran dan kontribusi pada pembelajaran biologi SMA kelas XII pada Kompetensi Dasar 1.3.
