Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of pineapple peel (Ananas comosus L meer) the administration of liquid organic fertilizer leaves on the growth of red spinach plants (Amaranthus tricolor L.).The research method used was an experimental method with a completely randomized design design consisting of five treatments and five replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1 (15%), P2 (30%), P3 (45%), and P4 (60%). Data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by the duncan real distance difference test and the smallest real distance difference test. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the growth of red spinach plants with F count> f table 1%. The most effective concentration is P3 (45%) with plant height (25,14 cm), number of leaves (16,2 sheet), leaf area (34, 1 cm 2), wet weight off shoot (6,22 g) and root (2,59 g), dry weight of shoot (1,88 g) and root (1,50 g). Based on these results it can be concluded that liquid pineapple coolie organic fertilizer has a very significant effect in increasing the growth of red spinach plants. The results of this study can be used as enrichment material on the KD about growth and development which is made in the form lesson plans (RPP) and student work sheet (LKPD).
