Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of petai cina (Leucaena leucocephala) (Lam.) De Wit) liquid organic fertilizer leaves on the growth of celery plants (Apium graveolens L.). The research method used is the experimental method with a completely randomized design consisting of five treatments and five replications. The treatment consisted of P0 (control), P1 (10%), P2 (20%), P3 (30%) dan P4 (40%). The data was analyzed with ANOVA and continued with Duncan’s Real Differences Test. The results showed that the aplication of liquid organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the growth of celery plants with F count > f tabel 1%. The most effective concentration is P2 (20%) with the number of leaves (65,4 sheet), number of stalks (16,6 sheet), wet weight of the shoot (17,81 g) and root (5,09 g), and the dry weight of the shoot (2,27 g) and root (0,92 g). Based on these results it was concluded that the liquid organic fertilizer leaves has a very significant effect in increasing the growth of celery plants. The result of this study can be used as enricment material on basic competencies about growth made in from lesson plans (RPP) and student work sheet (LKPD).
