Abstract

This research aims to (1) Calculate and analyze the productivity and income farming of rice technical irrigation by application IP300 at Sidomulyo Village Belitang District OKU Timur (2) Compute and analyze the difference levels of productivity and income farming of rice irrigation technical implement IP300 and which does not apply at Sidomulyo Village Belitang District OKU Timur (3) Analyzing the factors that influence the decision of the technical irrigation rice farmer applying IP300 at Sidomulyo Village Belitang District OKU Timur. This research was conducted in Sidomulyo Village Belitang District OKU Timur. The data is collected in December 2016. The method used in this research was survey method. The sampling method used was disproportional random sampling that consist of 30 sample from rice farmer IP300 irrigation technical implement and 30 sample from rice farmer IP200 irrigation technical implement. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study showed that the productivity of irrigated rice fields on the technical application of IP300 was 20.491,32 kg/ha/yr. whereas revenue on technical irrigation rice field with the application of the indicated value IP300 Rp28.236.034,17/lg/yr. or amounting to Rp47.216.714,76/ha/yr. There is a difference in productivity and income of farmers on technical irrigation rice farming with applying IP300 and technical irrigation rice farming with applying IP200. Technical irrigation rice productivity with application of IP300 was 20.491,32 kg/ha/yr while the productivity of farming technical irrigation rice by application of IP200 was 13.993,57kg/ha/yr. Technical irrigation rice field farmer income by application IP300 higher than technical irrigation rice field with application IP200 this is shown with the value amounting to Rp47.216.714,76/ha/yr. technical irrigation rice field while on the application of IP200 was Rp26.434.749,98/ha/yr. Base on the regression analysis, there are the variables that correlated significantly with farmer’s decision of applying IP300 which are income, farmer’s education, and age of farmer, while the land area, experience of farming, number of family members, and need of the workforce has no effect.
