Abstract

The objectives of this paper try to examine of differences between Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Return On Asset (ROA) before and after the spin off event at sharia banks. Object of research were two sharia banks namely PT. BNI Syariah and PT. BCA Syariah. The observation period is five years and data analysis technique using different tests paired sample t-test. The findings The findings of the research that there is a significant difference DPF before and after the event spin off while the CAR and comprises of both banks are not proven there are differences. The implications of this research is that the performance of sharia banks after doing spin off are able to decrease the NPF so that the health of the bank for the better. Health level based on CAR sharia banks classified as a healthy condition but with do spin off has not yet been able to offset by tangible assets as a result of the bank losses due to risky assets while comprises for the management of the bank should be more selective in the manage all assets are available even though the value comprises has shown a healthy condition.
