Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze and describe how prepared the Village Government in managing village finance in an accountability manner according to Law Number 6 Year 2014. Accountability is a form of village accountability in managing village finances. This research belongs to qualitative descriptive research type. The informants in this study were village apparatuses who had authorities and abilities in areas such as the Village Mayor, Village Secretary, and Village Treasurer. Data collection techniques use tangible instruments in the form of; Interviews, and Documentation. Afterwards, the data are analyzed using the phenomenology approach. The results of the study show that the readiness of the village government in each of the villages studied has been carried out in an accountable manner according to Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages. Readiness of village government in managing village finances has implemented participatory and responsive principles, both for apparatus and the community in the process of planning, implementing, administering, reporting, and accountability in implementing village financial management.
