Abstract

Road is one part of the infrastructure construction system and the national transportation system. Road preservation is road handling activities, in the form of prevention, maintenance, and repairs needed to maintain the road conditions in order to function optimally to serve traffic so that the planned age can be achieved. Road preservation is done to maintain the road conditions in standard and steady service. Road preservation activities consist of routine maintenance, periodic maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of roads and road complementary buildings. Cost planning and types of road preservation can be planned using the Road Asset Management System (RAMS) application. RAMS is a system that identifies a variety of handling strategies by analyzing surface conditions and deflection. RAMS analysis works with two levels, namely networks and projects. RAMS can introduce innovative and efficient maintenance treatments for structural asphalt layers and stripping layers. The data needed in analyzing the planning is traffic data, deflection data (FWD), IRI data, and PCI data. Traffic and deflection data (FWD) is obtained by conducting a field survey. IRI and PCI data was obtained from the RAMS website that had been uploaded by National Road Handling Center V. The analysis results are obtained after all data is uploaded and processed in the RAMS application. Based on the results of an analysis conducted in the application of RAMS, the cost of handling pavement in 2019 on the Betung - BTS segment of Sekayu City is Twelve Billion Two Hundred and Seventy Million One Hundred and Eighty Four Thousand Fifty One Rupiah and the type of road handling that can be done is major handling.
