Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out the effect of independency, competency, ethic, motivation, and time pressure of South Sumatera Province inspectorate apparatus on audit quality. This study was an explanatory/confirmatory research since it was intended to explain a causal relation between independent variabels and dependent variabel through the testing of the hypotheses formulated. The population consisted of all the inspectorate apparatus. Sampling technique in this study is to use a purposive sampling method. So that the sample is inspecting apparatus. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data and this study used primary data in the testing. The data collection method used in this study was survey method and the data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents who were 52. After that the data were analyzed using SPSS version 23 by multi-regression analysis. On the basis of the result it was obtained that partially independency, competency, and ethic has a significant influence effect to audit quality of the inspectorate apparatus.Whereas motivation and time pressure has no significant effect audit quality of the inspectorate apparatus in South Sumatera Province.
