Abstract

Company value is a value that is reflected in the company's stock price that investors need to make investment decisions. The value of the company itself becomes interesting to study because many factors can influence it, so this study aims to determine the relationship of other variables to the company's own value variable. There are several factors that influence company value, but researchers only choose 2 variables, namely: Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return On Assets (ROA). This study aims to determine the effect of DER and ROA on Corporate Value (Tobin’s Q) both simultaneously and partially. Associative and causal research methods with technical multiple linear analysis. The results showed that Debt to Equity has an effect but not significant. This means, if the Debt Equity Ratio (DER) has increased, then the company value (Tobin's Q) will remain or constant. Ratio and Return On Assets have a significant effect on firm value. This means , if the Return On Assets (ROA) increases, then the value of the company (Tobin's Q) will also increase.
