Abstract

Population growth of Baturaja Timur District of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency in the last nine years has increased. During the period from 2008 to 2016 the population continues to increase. In this research to know the projection of population growth rate of Baturaja Timur District of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency used ARIMA model and Radial basis Function (RBF) model and to know what factors influence population growth used Factor Analysis. From this research can be concluded: In the result of the merger analysis between the two models ARIMA model and Radial Base Function (RBF) obtained the smaller MSE and MAPE values, so the merging of both models gives a more accurate prediction value. Based on the results of research using factor analysis (multivariate) it can be seen that from 8 research variables that can be tested further reduced to 2 factors that are external factors (displacement) and other factors.
