Abstract

This study aims to find out the level of difficulty, distinguishing feature and function of the distracters on the odd semester exarn of productive subjects at SMK Negeri I North Indralaya in academic year 201212013. The method used in this study is descriptive method and used documentation for collecting the data. The data sources were ilre test items, arrswer key, and all the students' answer sheets at the odd semester exam on the process of energy conversion machine subject at SMK Negeri I North Indralaya in academic year 201212013. The result of this study showed that for the level of difficulty was found that2 items (6,7 o/o) were easy, 21 items (70%') were average, and 7 items (23,3%) were difficult. The result of the analysis of the item distinguishing found that 5 items (16,7%) were not good, 6 items (20Yo) werc average, 18 items (60%) were good, and I item (3,3%o) was negative. The result of the distracter function showed" from 120 distracters, there were 77 distracters (64,2%) which could be used or functioned well and 43 distracters (35,8%) which functioned unwell. Therefore, it can be concluded that, relatively, the item test of the odd semester exam on the process of energy conversion machine subject at SMK Negeri 1 North Indralaya in academic year 201212013 was categorized as good items, because having the biggest percentage of the difficulty level on average item anrounted to 2l items (70Yo), the biggest percentage of the distinguishing feature on good item amounted to 18 items (60%) and also more distacters which had functioned well, amounte d to 7 7 distracters (64,2%).
