Abstract

The amount of solar radiation produced is not only determined by the tilt angle of the solar panel but also influenced by several other factors such as the daily and annual apparent solar motion and brightness index every month. The more activities carried out the more energy needed. Energy in human life is used for various purposes, for war, cooking, transportation, industry and various other needs. So far, the energy needed is still sufficient from the main energy sources (fossil fuels), namely oil, coal and gas. The energy needed is increasing in line with the increase in development and population growth, while the supply of fossil fuel sources is limited in availability, so it is necessary to seek the use of other available energy sources throughout the mass Solar energy is the largest energy on earth that can be converted into electrical energy, one source new electricity is using solar panels. In addition, it is also necessary to save on the use of fossil fuel sources so that the existing fossil fuels do not run out quickly. The more advanced a country is, the more energy is needed. There are two ways of working that are used by PLTS to produce electricity. The first is PLTS Thermal, where the way it works is to collect solar heat and then use it to heat a liquid. Then the steam produced by the liquid is useful for moving a generator that will produce electricity. Whereas the other PLTS methods are PLTS Fotovoltaik, which will later be used as a tool to capture solar thermal energy which will be directly converted into electrical energy. This type of Fotovaltaik PLTS is admitted to be more effective and faster to produce electricity than Thermal PLTS. The purpose of this measurement is to be able to analyze how much power the solar panels produce against various conditions of sunny weather, cloudy weather, rainy weather and can analyze the economic value of a solar panel where in this measurement the solar panel is placed facing north with a sloping 5O.The results of the measurement of solar panels 50 WP when sunny conditions can produce the highest power is 36.37 W, while the measurement of solar panels when conditions are somewhat cloudy can produce the highest power is 18.09W, while the measurement of solar panels during cloudy conditions can produce the highest power is 12.58 W.Measurement results show that weather factors, temperature, sunlight intensity and the number of clouds can influence variations in the power produced.
