Abstract
There are 2 problems in this reserach, how is the image and form of a news about violence action againts girl child on a local news in Palembang city. The aim on this research is tovidentify violence ection and also to analyse the news form. This research use content analysis. All data on the news were clarified and observed on news form that displayed. The image about violence action against child on local newspaper in Palembang that mostly come up is violence form, raping action. Victim as a child that physically weak and in a moral way was in a fear condition were very risky as a violence victim. If we look on news form were mostly used a simple and past patterns were suitable for a daily news that printed everyday. But this form were not suitable for a violence againts child case because it only see the problem on the surface, there is no study on the problem. News is a report journal that have a big influence to the reader. It was hope that information about violence againts girl child were done with a gender perspective, it means there are support o the victim on her side. Investigation report is a right option for this problem because we will have the root of problem and it solution. Key Word : tindakan kekerasan anak perempuan
