Abstract

PT Budi Gema Gempita merupakan perusahaanxswastaxpertambangan denganxkomoditi batubaraxyang berada dixkabupatenxLahat, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penambangan batubara menggunakan metode strip mining kovensional dengan peralatan shovel excavator backhoe jenis Hitachi ZX470LC dibantu trucks jenis articulated dump trucks Volvo A35. Perusahan bermaksud meningkatkan produksi dengan memperluas area penambangan dari area section 1 menuju area section 2 ke arah selatan. Disposal overburden existing tidak memiliki kapasitas tersisa. Agar teknis penambangan dapat tersusun baik, diperlukan perencanaan sekuen penambangan batubara dan disposal overburden. Targetxproduksi ditentukan sebesarx1.000.000 ton/tahun batubara denganxnilai strippingxratio (SR) maksimum 3,5 bcm/ton. Disposal overburden direncanakan secara backfilling pada area pit yang telah final. Rencana sekuen penambangan terdiri dari rancangan sekuen pit penambangan dan sekuen disposal overburden periode tahunan. Rancangan desain pit dibuat berdasarkan batas area rencana, target produksi, dan geometri penambangan. Rancangan desain disposal dibuat berdasarkan lokasi disposal rencana, geometri jenjang disposal, dan jumlah overburden yang dipindahkan. Perancangan dibuat melalui software minescape 5.7 dan pengecekan faktor keamanan jenjang dilakukan melalui software rocscience slide v6.0. Penelitian menghasilkan rancangan 4 sekuen tahunan pada area rencana yang tersedia. Jumlah estimasi total cadangan sebesar 4.491.747 ton batubara, 13.890.644 bcm overburden, nilai SR sebesar 3,09 bcm/ton, luas area bukaan sebesar 52,67 Ha. Arah kemajuan penambangan direncanakan meluas pada area selatan pit existing secara down-dip (lowwall to highwall) pada sekuen tahun pertama dan kedua, kemudian secara up-dip (highwall to lowwall) pada sekuen tahun ketiga dan keempat. Penimbunan overburden direncanakan secara backfilling pada area pit yang telah final.
