Abstract

The purpose of this research was to got isolate of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) which had antagonis by Eschericia coli. LAB was isolated from bekasam, peda, terasi and rusip (fish fermented product from South Sumatera), which use MRS + CaCO3 media. The result was that the number isolate can blocked Eschericia coli from bekasam was 5 (1B1 104 , 2B1104 , 3B1 104 , 1B2104 , 2B1 105 ), peda was 1 (3P1 104), terasi was 1 (3T1104) and rusip was 2 isolates (1R1103dan 3R1103). All the isolates was bacill, gram positive, and negative catalase. The isolate which had biggest of clear zone was 2B1104 and 3R1103, with the diameter of clear zone was 1.235cm and 1.25cm. The Both of isolates can growth (optimum) in 30oC.
