Abstract

This study is a descriptive study that aims to describe how students' mathematical thinking in mathematical aspect ratio when students solve problems of trigonometry in a right triangle. The subjects in this study students of X IPA 6 in SMAN 4 Palembang. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of a test consisting of three questions tests and interviews to obtain data in more depth. Based on the results of data analysis, Researchers conclude that after implementation PMRI learning approach to material ratio of trigonometry in a right triangle mathematical aspects of mathematical thinking, learners perform all aspects that is mathematical formalization, geometrization, connections, and optimization. The dominant indicator appears that formalization. The reason the subject of formalization indicators that they already know what is known of the matter. The indicators that sometimes arise which geometrization. The reason the subject of geometrization indicator that they create images in solving the problem in order to show what is being asked by way of illustration of the image.
