Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the most Muslim population in the world. According to what was recorded by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in 2010, a total of 207,176,162 inhabitants of Indonesia embraced Islam. If presented as equals 87.18% of Indonesia's total population of 237,641,326 people. this is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to open travel agents hajj and umrah. However, many case frauds and etc who harmful customers. this is happening because of the lack of accurate information because usually the information is more often distributed by word of mouth so it is a complicated difficult for prospective customers to determine the hajj and umrah travel agent. This research aims to implement the algorithms in computer science to create a decision support system for hajj and umrah travel agent recommendation. In this research method used is collaboration SAW and TOPSIS. Where samples are used as much as 10 travel agent with the assessment criteria is price, package, service, security, facility, certificate, and testimonial. From combining two methods, showed that the calculations SAW and TOPSIS Method can be used for selecting the best alternative of travel agent hajj and umrah based on customer priority criteria whats a customer needs in the city of Palembang.
