Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning result of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 224 Palembang on Greatest Common Divisor (GCD) and Least Common Multiple (LCM) by using numeral dakon props. The method of this study was Classroom Action Research with 3 cycles, such as planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data of this study were collected by conducting the essay test and observation. The result showed that there were improvement of the learning result of the students on GCD and LCM material. It can be seen in cycle I, the average score of exam was 62,66 meaning that 56,66 % of the students had passed the learning, in cycle II the average score of the students was 74,13 meaning that 73,333% of the students had reached the standard learning. In cycle III, the average score of the students was 83 meaning that 83,33% of the students had reached the standard learning. Thus, it can be conclude that the use of numeral dakon props can improve the learning result of the fourth grade student of SD Negeri 224 Palembang.
