Abstract

Bacterial utilization indigen has an advantage over exogenous bacteria in the oil degradation process can be used as an agent of MEOR because the bacteria have adapted well to their environment. This study aims to explore the indigen bacteria in Region PT Pertamina UBEP Muara Enim Lemons are able to degrade petroleum. The results of this study obtained 22 isolates of indigen, including 10 species of bacteria capable of degrading petroleum waste, based on the results of identification: 10 isolates of bacteria belonging to 4 genuses; 1. Pseudomonas (4 isolates) 2. Bacillus (4 isolates) 3. Micrococcus (1 isolate) 4. Flavobacterium (1 isolate)
